Crystal Palace goalie JULIAN SPERONI has a signed a new one-year contract.
The 39-year-old has put pen to paper on a new contract that will bring him up to 15 years at the club following his arrival from Dundee in 2004.
He played 13 times last season, taking him to number four in the all-time appearances list with 403 matches in a Palace jersey.
SPERONI is likely to be understudy to the younger Wayne Hennessey and new signing Vicente Guaita but says he will be ready if called upon.
"I'm always willing to play, I think I'll be 50 and still looking to play," he told Palace TV. "I love football, I have a passion for the game and if I can get some games this season, that would be great. But again, I'm here to help the team achieve great things."
Hennessey has also renewed his contract with the Eagles, penning a new three-year contract.
